FRAUXMAGE – Delicious Nutty Baked Cheese

This Recipe will fit perfectly with the Faux Gras in a sharing platter full of Nutrition and delicious Christmas flavors;

Try this recipe for Christmas and get addicted!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
For 1 big portion (4-6 people)

  • ½ cup raw cashew nuts
  • ½ cup raw almonds
  • 4-5 brazil nuts
  • ½ cup water
  • Juice from ½ lemon
  • 1 teaspoon nutritional yeast
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon mustard
  • ½ cup vegan cream

HOW TO:

Soak all the nuts over night;

Rinse the water from the nuts and add them all together in a food processor with ½ cup water and salt, until it becomes a creamy thick paste;

Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add all the ingredients, besides the vegan cream and the mustard;

Separate the cheese mass in two parts.

Mold one part in a ramequin or a cheese box(cover with a baking paper). Pay attention to cover the bottom and sides of the bowl. If you wish, toss some nuts and seeds on the bottom and sides of the form;

Mix the second part of the cheese with the vegan cream and mustard and adjust seasoning to your taste;

Pour the creamy cheese over the molded part and bake at 180° for about 15-20 minutes;

Wait that it cools down to take out of the mold or serve warm in the mold to have a more “fondue” experience;
